Answer:
The registration is active for ten years. At the end of ten years, the mark may be renewed for another ten years. The mark may be renewed every ten years as long as the mark is in continual use.

Answer:
Yes, the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) is available online to perform trademark and servicemark searches.

Question: Do I have to be a U.S. Citizen to obtain a federal registration?

Answer:
No. However, an applicant's citizenship must be stated in the record. If an applicant is not a citizen of any country, then a statement to that effect is adequate.
